Virtual tour The Museum of History and Ethnography in Văleni
The Museum of History and Ethnography in Văleni opened its doors to the public on August 27, 2017 (Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova), when the Văleni socio-cultural center was inaugurated (including the Orthodox Church of St. Hierarch Spyridon and the Museum of History and Ethnography of Văleni).
The museum comprises up to 1000 items of clothing, furniture, documents, photographs, and various tools. The aim of the Museum of History and Ethnography is to preserve and highlight the historical, ethnographic, and cultural heritage of the locality. Inside the museum, there is also a Carpet Weaving Workshop where local craftswomen pass on the craft of carpet weaving to the girls of Văleni.
